birthday blast!!!

September 30, 2008

just what birthday celebration i had…it was so simple yet worthy to be memorable. i had like a 3 day "simply-fun" celebration.
on the 26th, which was our last day of having our laboratory activity in our major subject, we made appetizers, main dish and dessert. just the perfect time to cook those because it was also like it was a buffet for me though it was for the whole class. i just felt like it was my "handa". the great thing was out of my consciousness, my friends had a little surprise for me which made me cry(ahhhh)- a cake they hid from me for a week. Sheila, one of my closest friends took me to a mall and made an excuse that she will buy sandals for herself because she will be having a date. but then when we arrived there she insisted that i will choose the sandal for her and by that time i had a feeling that it was for me until later that time she told me "pagdali na ug pili bah kay para na sa imo." i heard what she said a just pretended that i did not hear her. until she decided to postpone it because i can’t choose.
on the following day(27th),which is my actual birthday, the first thing i did, i went to  church and lighted a candle to say prayers to God for my birthday. when i got home, i asked my mom if she’s going to prepare something because I’m planning to treat some of my friends. She said that just a simple lunch enough for the family, i can invite my friends on snacks time. i just have to buy ice cream and cake and she’s going to make a spaghetti for us.and after my celebration with my friends was my family gathering time. we opened a wine, we ate cake, had dinner together and a little bonding then a couple of my kuya’s friends arrived and had drinking session. actually they did not know that it was my birthday. lucky for them…
and  on the 28th was my uncle’s death anniversary and also the eldest of my mother’s side arrived from states and who will also celebrate his birthday on the 29th decided that we will celebrate our birthday together on this day so after we fetch him on the airport we went straight to the province for something  was waiting for us - another celebration. a "letchon" was ready and another "handa" and of course my 4th cake was about to be displayed on the table. yes i had 4 cakes on my birthday. isn’t it so much blessing? what’s amazing on that cake, it was about 16x24 and me and my uncle’s name were written back-to- back a unique one.
it’s just so right to say thanks for such great blessings not only on my birthday but the whole year through. for my life, family, and of course health…

luckily born…

September 25, 2008

i wonder how people feel today about their lives or what they are thinking about anything.

since i was born,i already felt lucky about how i was made. i think that i was made perfect of my imperfections.  a lot of people loved me and cared for me ever since i got out from my mother’s womb - my aunties and uncles…

i specially feel perfect whenever there are people whom i can live with…those who are not careless and tidy…

isn’t it a nice feeling having people around you who can live with you??? so let’s not take them for granted and show them back how we care for them…

it’s been a long time…

September 22, 2008

woohoo..it’s been a long time now since I’ve posted something on my blog…i don’t know why,but I’m getting lazy with this…there are just several factors that’s resisting me from typing and posting.

it doesn’t matter anyway as long as i am still trying to find time doing this-i still love blogging…

oh well…i just wanna share that i have noticed that i have been so much blessed this past few days.later this month will be my birthday but it seemed that God gave me advance gifts. i can’t actually name them all but i can feel it that He had blessed me a lot-from my health, lifestyle, status, relationships and even the material things.i can’t really deny that i am a pretty materialistic but it isn’t a big deal for me.there are times that i try to evaluate myself if i really deserve and i found it not…=c

but still the creator gave them to me which makes me think that i am still good…emoticon

honestly, i can’t avoid being greedy at times but it does not stay long. i just think that i should be contented of what i have today and someday have them with my own hard work which i think will be a great feeling of pride and success…emoticon

sports time!!!

September 1, 2008

woohoo!!! it’s our intramurals week. after a 3-day long examination time, we made it up on our intramurals week. naturally, we have to pamper ourselves after our pressured and stressed exams by lurking on our favorite sports and activity.

but me, i’m involved on our program’s food committee. though i love sports but i don’t know how to get my mind and body on it. i didn’t have my time to discipline my self on those sport events. i lack training and practice. i don’t even know where i’m good at - in foods i guess.

goodluck ND&HRM program.hope we’ll make it till the end…

oh, and i almost forgot…it’s the month of September. my special month and cold days are just around the corner because its already "-ber" month. better start saving for Christmas and prepare those gift list…
