birthday blast!!!

just what birthday celebration i had…it was so simple yet worthy to be memorable. i had like a 3 day "simply-fun" celebration.
on the 26th, which was our last day of having our laboratory activity in our major subject, we made appetizers, main dish and dessert. just the perfect time to cook those because it was also like it was a buffet for me though it was for the whole class. i just felt like it was my "handa". the great thing was out of my consciousness, my friends had a little surprise for me which made me cry(ahhhh)- a cake they hid from me for a week. Sheila, one of my closest friends took me to a mall and made an excuse that she will buy sandals for herself because she will be having a date. but then when we arrived there she insisted that i will choose the sandal for her and by that time i had a feeling that it was for me until later that time she told me "pagdali na ug pili bah kay para na sa imo." i heard what she said a just pretended that i did not hear her. until she decided to postpone it because i can’t choose.
on the following day(27th),which is my actual birthday, the first thing i did, i went to  church and lighted a candle to say prayers to God for my birthday. when i got home, i asked my mom if she’s going to prepare something because I’m planning to treat some of my friends. She said that just a simple lunch enough for the family, i can invite my friends on snacks time. i just have to buy ice cream and cake and she’s going to make a spaghetti for us.and after my celebration with my friends was my family gathering time. we opened a wine, we ate cake, had dinner together and a little bonding then a couple of my kuya’s friends arrived and had drinking session. actually they did not know that it was my birthday. lucky for them…
and  on the 28th was my uncle’s death anniversary and also the eldest of my mother’s side arrived from states and who will also celebrate his birthday on the 29th decided that we will celebrate our birthday together on this day so after we fetch him on the airport we went straight to the province for something  was waiting for us - another celebration. a "letchon" was ready and another "handa" and of course my 4th cake was about to be displayed on the table. yes i had 4 cakes on my birthday. isn’t it so much blessing? what’s amazing on that cake, it was about 16x24 and me and my uncle’s name were written back-to- back a unique one.
it’s just so right to say thanks for such great blessings not only on my birthday but the whole year through. for my life, family, and of course health…
